Proper Logo Designing and use

Why does my very Cool logo look like a pile when i blow it up or re-print it?

Many folks have great vision on what they want in a logo and often have the creative ability to design an awesome looking logo or image. This can be very self fulfilling and rewarding.
with that said, it can and often is very frustrating to take your art to the printer, than pickup your banner, brochure etc, to find your awesome logo is distorted and broken up and looks like big dots or such,

"Well there went your creative EGO and your MONEY.."

OK, Bad news is, i can`t get your money back, but the good news is we can restore your creative EGO and help you rebuild your Logo!!

There are two Issues: 1) We will focus on today correct design format, 2) correct color format, you will have to read my next blog for that info ;)

 OK, down to it...
How ever you choose to make your logo, via a professional designer or DIY, you must use some kind of professional graphic design program. paint or office etc will not cut it. graphics are made in 2 types of formats. raster and vector. your general everyday graphics are raster, not made for large format and is comprised of dots. so the larger the image, the larger the dots, HA! so you blowup a group of dots, you get giant dots.
the other for mat "vector" is comprised of lines and curves so you can enlarge and enlarge you just get larger lines and curves just as the images was designed to look like. TA TA!!

There are many programs you may use to make vector based graphics, .EPS files, most common are the top dogs: Adobe Illustrator and Coreldraw..

Well that what i have for you today folks.
check back shortly for my next blog on correct color formatting "Why did my Blue logo print out purple?"

As always I encourage your questions and input.
